About Me

I was born in Dayton, Ohio. Due to my dad's civil service job working for the Air Force we moved quite a bit when I was growing up. Places I have lived include Texas, California and Maine. When it was time to pick a career I chose to become an aircraft electrician in the United States Navy. I met my husband in the Navy and after my enlistment was over I decided I wanted to stay at home to raise my two wonderful daughters. Once they were old enough to go to school I knew it was also time for me to go back to school and late in my education career I knew I wanted to be an art teacher. Our family life is hectic and busy but we make sure to find time to eat dinner together and walk our amazing dog, Leo!
